Our first interview: Roberto Bubas

On Friday 21 May, Roberto Bubas, a park ranger with a peculiar experience with orcas, visited us and gave us a talk about this amazing animals.

R. B. is a park ranger. He played the harmonica for the orcas, they came and he touched them. He worked in Peninsula Valdes for around fourteen years. Now he works in Punta Loma with sea lions.

Roberto visited us on Friday 21 May; he told us about his work and described the orcas. He showed us some photographs.

R. B. is a park ranger. He worked in Peninsula Valdes for around fourteen years. When he worked there, he played music with his harmonica for the orcas. They came with him and he touched them.
He works in Punta Loma now. He works with sea lions. Roberto can't see the orcas because he's very far.

R. B. is a famous park ranger because he did a very exciting thing, he touched orcas.
He came here, to Madryn Lab, and talked about is job. It was fantastic, because he talked about orcas and it was nice because they are beautiful.
Then, he told us how he could touch orcas. He played the harmonica and the orcas came to him, and he described what he felt when he touched an orca. "It was great!", he said.
In his face I saw his love to orcas, and the love he has to his job.
It was very nice learning about these fantastic black and white animals.

Roberto Bubas.
He's a park ranger. He worked in Peninsula Valdes for around fourteen years. When he worked in Caleta Valdes an Punta Norte he went to the beach, played the harmonica for the orcas and touched them. Now, he works in Punta Loma.
He visited us in Madryn Lab and he explained lots of things about orcas. He brought us pictures and videos, and we interviewed him.
Park rangers work on a natural reserve and they protect the animals.

R. B. is a park ranger and he knows all about orcas. When he worked in Peninsula Valdes, he went to the beach, he played the harmonica, and the orcas came to him!
Roberto visited Madryn Lab on Friday 21 May and talked about orcas. This information was very interesting. He talked about the life of orcas.
These animals aren't killer whales. They kill sea lions because they eat them.
Bubas loves his job and he's very happy with it, and now he works in Punta Loma.
